First public reading of AMERICA’S BRIGHTEST STAR

America’s Brightest Star, a new full-length comedy about fame coming to a small town, will have the first public reading at Railroad Playhouse on Saturday, July 2nd at 8:00pm.  The reading is directed by Railroad Playhouse Artistic Director Seth Soloway and features Melanie Foster Parsons, Kelly Scanlon, Catia Ojeda, Aaron Davis and Cabot Parsons.   Tickets are $10 and there will be a talkback following the reading.  For more details check out the Railroad Playhouse website.

Playwright-in-Residence

Railroad Playhouse, in Newburgh New York, has announced that I will be their first Playwright-in-Residence, effective immediately.  This exciting new regional theater will actively develop new plays, and will nurture relationships with a number of rising playwrights.  The theater officially opens this fall, and the opening festivities will include readings of some of my plays.   They will also develop and premiere the play America’s Brightest Star.
