IT IS DONE receives rave reviews; runs through June 12th

It is Done has opened at the historic Pig ‘n Whistle in Hollywood, California, and has received rave reviews:

Alex Goldberg (has a) gift for dialogue…The twist in It is Done is undeniably creepy…I hadn’t seen it coming, and surprise goes a long way with someone raised on ’70s sitcoms.”  Margaret Gray, Los Angeles Times

“Goldberg’s delightfully creepy play is a little gem…A moody thriller…the play bends from a gritty Sam Shepard treatise on bourbon-swilling social outcasts to a Rod Serling script for an old “Twilight Zone,” complete with Hank Williams and his twanging guitar whining away on an ancient jukebox.”  Travis Michael Holder, Back Stage Magazine.

“What a clever concept…a murder mystery set in a pub…literally!  A terrific script well executed with a dynamic trio of actors.  It is Done…it is a must do!  Hettie Lynne Hurtes, KPCC, 89.3 FM

“Alex Goldberg’s haunting and very well-conceived drama…can join that august list of nontraditional top shows…A welcome addition to terrific theater staged without a theater.”  Brad Schreiber, The Huffington Post.

“Alex Goldberg’s stylish thriller, set in the middle of nowhere, could be a kissing cousin to Jean-Paul Sartre’s 1944 existential drama, No Exit…You’ll have a good time here, so don’t miss it.”  Dale Reynolds, Stage Happenings.com

“Alex Goldberg’s edge-of-your-seat thriller…packs one hell of a wallop…Angelinos can count themselves fortunate indeed that Goldberg  and Ojeda have made the transcontinental jump to our left coast shores and brought It is Done with them.  With its truly surprising twists and turns, Goldberg’s thriller is a gasp-worthy winner and its leading lady’s performance a bona fide dazzler.  It is Done ought to be on any L.A. theatregoer’s must-see list, particularly with its convenient Sunday through Tuesday performance schedule.”  Steven Stanley, Stage Scene LA

The show runs Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights through June 12th.  Check out www.itisdonetheplay.com for more information, including how to get tickets.
