The short play DINNER THEATER, a 25-minute dark comedy about a couple and their recently adjusted sexual boundaries, will have two different productions in the coming months and is in competition for a third.
The play has also made the British Theatre Challenge Short List of the Sky Blue Theatre Company in London. 30 plays made the list (out of nearly 300 submissions). The top five plays will be selected later this month for a production in the fall.
This play was developed at The Actors Studio Playwright/Director Unit West and at Antaeus Theatre Company‘s Playwrights Lab
This dystopian story set in the near (and hopefully avoidable) future is about a young woman who lives among other squatters in the Empire State Building and must decide whether her future is to remain in the building or risk it all to move outside the crumbling city. The reading will be directed by Asaad Kelada. The play is an O’Neill Semifinalist.

Railroad Playhouse, in Newburgh New York, has announced that I will be their first Playwright-in-Residence, effective immediately. This exciting new regional theater will actively develop new plays, and will nurture relationships with a number of rising playwrights. The theater officially opens this fall, and the opening festivities will include readings of some of my plays. They will also develop and premiere the play America’s Brightest Star.
