GUELLEN, KANSAS – Antaeus Playwrights Lab

The brand new 10-minute play GUELLEN, KANSAS will have its first public presentation as part of the Antaeus Theatre Company’s 2nd Annual Ten-Minute Play Festival. The play was developed through the Playwrights Lab, and the theme of this year’s festival is Classics Redux, short plays inspired by classic works of art.

The staged reading is part of Series A, with performances on February 4th and 6th. Reservations can be made here. Make sure to make a reservation in advance, as these shows will sell out.

LITTLE BLACK BOXES reading in New York City

The first public reading of Little Black Boxes will be produced by Red Fern Theatre Company on Friday, September 18th. The play is about five strangers who all happen to be at the same place at the wrong time.

It is Done – Dramatists Guild reading

Following a successful reading in front of an excited audience at APAC last month, It is Done will have another staged reading in The Dramatists Guild reading series Friday Night Footlights.   The play is a dark comedy thriller about three strangers trapped in a desolate bar during a wind storm.   The reading is Friday, March 11th at 6:00pm.  Admission is free, but reservations are strongly required.  If you are interested in attending, please send a message through this site.

It is Done – Staged reading at APAC

Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC) will produce the first public staged reading of It is Done, a new full length play about three strangers trapped in a desolate bar during a wind storm.   The reading is Thursday, February 10th at 7:00pm.  Admission is free.  Following the reading, a spirited (pun inevitable) post show discussion will take place at Vesta, a few blocks away.  The reading is free, but reservations are recommended.

APAC (Astoria Performing Arts Center) announces their tenth Anniversary season, including the first public reading of IT IS DONE.  The reading, part of APAC’s 15/20s Staged Works Series, will take place on February 10, 2011.
